Eva Out of Focus

Here is a photo of my best friend, Eva. I just found it the other day as I was looking through old photos. I took this in the early winter of this past year. She was simply on a computer, and it's out of focus, but something about her hunched back, splayed feet, and light coming in through the window captures me. The simplicity of a complex person can be caught in a moment of film, and that's one thing I love about photography.

Terra is one of my best friends at school. She is also in my photo class, so we end up modeling for each other a lot. Luckily for me, Terra happens to be a dancer. Because of this, I have fun incorporating elements of her graceful movements in my pictures. Above are some of my favorite shots I took of her.
