Same Guy! (Me v. Vogue)

So here's the story: I was looking through a fashion blog I really like, and I came across an editorial. In one of the pictures was a woman along with another man. The man looked familiar and I instantly realized I had taken a picture of him about a year ago (April 30th to be exact)! I did a double take, and now I simply think it is sort of cool that the people at Vogue Italia magazine and I were both interested in this eclectic New Yorker!

Blank Space Gallery and Tara Misenheimer

This one above was done by Tara Misenheimer. She is absolutely amazing - as an artist and a person.

From left to right: My mom, a friend, and the artist of the two prints behind the three woman, Tara Misenheimer.

Tara explaining her creative process.

The last six photos on this post are the works of other various artists who also had their art presenting in the same building. It was such fun to go from one floor to the next in this building, each filled with art galleries and to take pictures of the people there and some of my favorite art pieces that I saw too.

June 22, 2o11 Chelsea NYC

Here's close up of the picture above. I decided to add a cropped version because of how interesting I find the action of what's going on inside the garage. I wish I got closer, but I only noticed it when I was editing the picture!

This final shot I captured when I was lagging behind my mother and older cousin walking together in Chelsea on the way to an art gallery. The gallery pictures will be up soon!

cliché but still beautiful

It's hard to make a picture of a rainbow original, but even if I don't get points for originality I think that the scene is still beautiful. Notice the faint second rainbow above the vibrant bottom one. I'm pretty sure a double rainbow means good luck too! Taken June 16th from my window looking out on NYC.
