This summer I worked at NISDA a few days a week along with my other main full time job. Some days I would help teach the younger kids (pictures above) and most other days I helped another intern with a class of kids who were a little older. In that class we did printmaking, collages, blind contour, etc. but with the little ones above, it was more active and experimental. For instance, in these pictures, the students had decided to search for fairies - leaving them messages and making them baths out of scallop shells and sweet smelling flowers that floated on top. It was really cute and mostly magical.
