Singing Outside the MET

On a school trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, there was a group of singers and musicians performing at the bottom of the steps leading up to the museum. Their beautiful voices echoed loud amongst the hustle and bustle of the traffic and commotion and a large crowd had gathered around them. My friend, in the red shirt in the pictures above did not know any of the musicians prior to that day, but they began to sing a song he know, and as a very talented singer himself, he was drawn to their group and they all began to sing together. Their smiles and voices together created a magical spark that the audience caught on to and everyone could feel the power of this beautiful moment of music and how it brought everyone together. I was so thankful to have brought my camera along!
