Chevrolet, Melting

    You've got such a great, unusual color contrast here, with both the intense rust orange and the blue paint. I think it would also be interesting to see this pic cropped in to be just of the "melting" blue part of the car with the rust below it, and a tiny bit of the metallic grill showing so it becomes more an abstraction of industrial texture and color.

    I agree, that crop job would enhance the industrial look of the photo and perhaps catch the eye to follow the details more closely. The message I was trying to pursue with keeping the Chevrolet symbol in the picture was that in the last few years the American car industry has been metaphorically "melting." Thank you for the insightful comment. This just shows that when a picture is changed in the smallest way, the message can be completely altered too.
